5.2.1 Start node

The entry point of a conversational flow. Without it, the assistant has no defined place to begin.

The Start node in the BlockFlow designer.

• Trigger initialisation — defines whether the conversation is user-initiated or triggered automatically by a scheduled task or system event.
• Single per flow — one start node per scenario ensures an unambiguous starting point.
• Configurable settings — parameters and conditions for triggering the scenario.
